Holiday Accidents

The most common types of claims that arise from Holidays include:

  • Trips and slips due to slippery or defective flooring

Did your hotel have defective flooring in or around the hotel or pool area? If so, you may be able to make a claim.

  • Injuries sustained whilst on day excursions

On a day excursion booked through your Rep at the hotel or travel company? Did you sustain injury whilst on the excursion? Then you may be able to make a claim.

These claims can be difficult to prove and you should make a record of where you ate, or which pool you were using, who you reported the illness to (the hotel representative or Hotel Manager) and any medication you were given, and by whom. Together with the name of any Doctor or Hospital you were treated by.

  • Sporting activity accidents

You may have been injured as a result of the negligence of the instructor, a fellow sporting participant or defective sporting equipment.

  • Road Traffic Accidents & Accidents on public or private transport

Most people do not know that if they have an accident whilst driving abroad, particularly in Europe, that is not their fault, that they can claim.
